We are now looking to expand our team with a strong Head chef. The chef we are looking for will have good experience in similar kitchens. They will have an ability to cook consistently and understand areas that need development. Also be excited by the great produce that we are fortunate to handle daily.

We offer a daily a la carte menu over lunch and dinner 6 days a week.

Our working week is 8 shifts over 4 days.

tasks include:

  • plan menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
  • monitor the standard of cooking and finishing on dishes and ingredients
  • discussing food preparation with head chef, kitchen and waiting staff
  • demonstrating techniques and recipes for junior staff for training purposes
  • preparing and cooking food
  • explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations

Skills and experience

The right candidate will need to have 3 years experience in similar roles in similar restaurants. Good standard of food preparation and cleanliness. Also can easily adapt to different cooking methods.
