Pay – Hourly rate to be determined based on experience & qualifications

Roster – 38 hours casual or subcontractor with the option of full time to the right applicant

We have an immediate opportunity in Adelaide for a motivated, highly skilled commercial carpenter/ Cladder to join our team. All applicants will need to have the following qualifications and experience,

Qualifications and experience

• Trade qualification

• Steel wall and ceiling frames

• Fitting Commercial door hardware ie Mortice locks, electronic strikes, door closers, acoustic seals

• Aluminium window and door frames

• Exterior cladding 

• Read and interpret plans

• Must have own tools

• Drivers license

• Own transport

• White Card

Elite Building Co

Elite Building Co are a Commercial Fitout and Construction Company specialising in the following:

• Partitions: Steel or timber wall framing, all types of plasterboard linings, CFC sheeting and decorative paneling

• Aluminium: Internal and external, fully glazed partitions, windows, awnings, door frames, sliding doors, cavity sliders and swing doors

• Plastering/Flushing: Accredited class 5 finishing

• Ceiling Works: All ceiling types including grid, solid, and feature ceilings

• Doors and Hardware: Doors installed complete with simple to more complicated door furniture for both timber and aluminium doors, internal & external

• Joinery: All joinery needs from kitchens, storage, reception counters, wall paneling and feature ceilings

Responsibilities:

• Reading blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements
• Taking measurements and calculating the size and amount of material needed
• Cutting, shaping and smoothing lumber and other material according to measurements
