JOB DESCRIPTION
A well established accounting firm located in Melbourne's east are looking for their next team administrator. With growth plans and a progressive culture, the opportunity has opened up for someone with proven accounting administration experience to join a fast paced and innovative team.
Responsibilities
- Actioning incoming and outgoing mail
- Reception cover
- Maintaining database
- Providing general administration support to the managers and administration team
- Appointment booking and meeting room management
- Assisting clients and staff with queries
- Document management and preparation
- Collation and lodgement of tax returns and BAS
- TFN and ABN applications
- Regular dealings with the ATO
- ASIC administration - registering, company changes, annual reviews, etc
- General administration duties such as booking appointments, banking, deliveries, scanning documents, maintaining a clean and tidy work environment etc.
- 1-2 years previous experience in an accounting firm or the professional services industry
- No job is too small attitude
- Previous experience with accounting software (XERO, MYOB, APS)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and be challenged
