We have a vacant position for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Home Care team on a fixed term maternity leave contract basis. This position is an independent, mobile position servicing the general Southern Suburbs and Lower North region, which includes areas such as Floreat, Cottesloe and Claremont.

The role is based on 0800-1700 standard work day however the role is required to complete rotational on call clinical cover after hours, in addition to rotational public holidays and weekends for wound care and other clinical issues.

About You

You are a clinical leader capable of using your clinical knowledge and skills to work with the team in pursuit of excellent care outcomes. You are closely aligned to the Quality of Care Principals, and are able to support, educate and mentor the rest of the team.

Your excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills will be critical to your success in this leadership role and you will be passionate about staff support, education and mentoring.

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum 5 years post graduate experience, with relevant and recent clinical experience
  • Previous experience working within Aged Care or Community setting
  • Hold a current Registration with NMBA (RN)
  • Excellent Clinical Assessment, Care Planning and Documentation skills
  • Proactive approach to work, with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Previous ACFI experience desired
